After a long wait, the day has finally arrived! One hundred and thirty thousand volunteer applicants. eighteen thousand volunteers chosen.

All packed, nails done and ready to go. An early start with Mr T (ready for a skiing holiday) it’s off to Stanstead to fly to Venice.

Arrivato in Italia

Great flight, landed 20 mins early! No Ryan Air complains from us 🙂 The sun is shining, it’s a beautiful day, tIme to pick up a car and head to San Candido.

San Candido

Home for the next two weeks. A histoic town in South Tyrol founded in 769 A.D. as a religious centre and later a market town. It is part of the Tre Cime Natural Park in the Dolomites. The town is home to a Romanesque-Innichen Abbey, with a frescoded dome and the DoloMythos Museum.

Uniform & Accreditation Day

Some ‘working from home’ for my day job to be done before a trip to the town of Sanvito Di Cadore to collect my uniform or as my firends say ‘another t-shirt!’.
